Southeast Preschool:
The First Steps of Learning
Donna Bell, Southeast Preschool Director.
Lori Harper, Southeast Preschool Assistant Director

At Southeast Christian Preschool, we believe each child is a gift from God. We believe children learn through age-appropriate practices modeled at home and school. Parents are the primary educators, with our preschool partnering to provide for individual needs and learning styles.

A typical day in the life of a preschool student includes:
Welcome with opening activities (may include calendar, weather, helper assignments)
Bible Story Time / Prayer
Art Center and self-directed Learning Centers (including Science, Home Living, Listening, Writing, Library, Blocks, etc.)
Outside Play Time (gross motor activities)
Snack Time
Circle Time (story, show and tell, music)
Good-bye Circle Time

Morning hours:  8:30a - 11:30a

Afternoon hours:  12:30p - 3:30p

All Day:  8:30a - 3:30p

Our teachers get "down on the floor" with the kids and share the love of Christ each day. Preschool students enjoy times of development through experiences, times to discover and grow, times of worship and joy!
