Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord…
We are committed to the growth and development of all children and provide a preschool curriculum that includes spiritual, social, emotional, academic and physical components. This all leads to your child’s development through experiences, discovery and times of worship!
To further solidify these tenets, our Bible lessons are developed around scriptures that children can begin to incorporate into their young lives.
Southeast Christian Preschool uses Creative Curriculum for Preschool, which is a research based and published curriculum, designed around a monthly theme with age-appropriate activities and learning centers.
We strive to lay a foundation for spiritual, social/emotional, and academic development through the following activities:
- Bible curriculum
- Pre-reading and academics skills (letters, numbers)
- Fine motor skills (i.e. use of scissors)
- Graphing, charting, rhyming words, opposites
- Gross motor skills (balance beam, upper/lower body strength)
- Music instruction designed for preschool students
At Southeast Christian Preschool, we believe children are a gift from God. Preschool provides a warm, loving, and nurturing atmosphere where children can thrive. Children learn through age-appropriates practices modeled at home and school. Parents are the primary educators partnering with this preschool to provide for individual needs and learning styles.
During these early years, children are taught that God is the Creator of all things and that He has a deep and powerful love for all His children. It is our goal that during this brief but important time in your child’s life, the stage will be set for a lifetime love of learning built on spiritual principles.
